Scan cards with your camera

Overview

WaxScan uses AI vision to identify a card from a photo — player, year, set, parallel, and grade — then drops it straight into WaxLedger. Basic scan is free (20/day). WaxPro unlocks deep scan, Feeder Mode (motion-triggered rapid capture), and Multi-Scan (a whole binder page, display case, or table spread — up to 24 cards at once).

How to use

   Open WaxScan. Tap Scan in the nav and allow camera access.

   Frame the card. Fill the frame with the card front; hold steady until it captures.

   Review the result. Confirm the identified details, add a cost basis, and save to your collection.

4. 4

   Scan the back (optional). For graded cards, scan the slab back to grab the cert number and grade.

Pro tips

• 💡Good lighting and a plain background dramatically improve accuracy.
• 💡Use Feeder Mode (WaxPro) to rip through a stack — just slide cards under the camera.
• 💡After scanning, "Review now" jumps you into WaxEnrich to fill any gaps.
